This month we are focusing on God's Divine Wisdom. As we read daily the chapters of Proverb , we will renew our minds and spirits with the awesome wisdom of Almighty God.
What is Wisdom?
Wisdom can be defined as the correct application of God's Word. Simply put its doing what God says to do.
You can know what the Word of God says about a particular situation in your life but if you are not applying it you will end up in foolishness and frustration.
"Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock."
Matthew 7:24 NLT
MARRIAGE WISDOM:
There's a high rate of divorce among Christians and non Christians. Let's take a look at God's wisdom on the subject.
"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:"
Ephesians 5:25-31
What woman in her right mind would divorce a man treating her like that? Likewise what man would want to leave a woman treating him like this?
Wives, understand and support your husbands in ways that show your support for Christ. The husband provides leadership to his wife the way Christ does to his church, not by domineering but by cherishing. So just as the church submits to Christ as he exercises such leadership, wives should likewise submit to their husbands.
Ephesians 5:22-24
You can easily see by these divine instructions that if men and women follow God's wisdom in their marriages joy and longevity would be the result.
However, if you are not yet married but considering the possibility let God's wisdom guide you and save you misery down the road.
I think this translation says it fabulously.
"Don't become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That's not partnership; that's war. Is light best friends with dark? Does Christ go strolling with the Devil? Do trust and mistrust hold hands?"

As we allow God's instructions to be our guide, our careers, jobs and businesses will flourish. It's impossible for them not to.
BENEFITS OF WISDOM
Divine Guidance
There are many benefits of wisdom but the primary one is found in the following Proverb.
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
God's wisdom is all we need for lasting success in every area of our lives. Seek His guidance on all matters and humbly follow His instructions. He will make you wiser than your circumstances.
Afterall, He created you so surely He has the best plan for you!

"I know the plans I have for you," announces the Lord. "I want you to enjoy success. I do not plan to harm you. I will give you hope for the years to come."
He certainly will!
