LOVE MAKES YOUR FAITH WORK!
FAITH is the greatest asset in the Universe. It is a spiritual Force given to the children of God for command and victory over life's challenges. By FAITH you become a miracle worker bringing an end to suffering and pain.
However without love in your heart FAITH is impotent!
Mark 11:25 (KJV)
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Often times Believers are perplexed at why certain challenges are persisting. But if anger, resentment or unforgiveness are hiding in your heart then you will be eternally grounded.
When my mom died one of her good friends did not come to the hospital after being told the end was near, neither did she attend the funeral due to another engagement. I was terribly hurt and angry. I knew that if the situation were reversed my mom would have dropped everything and run to her bedside!
Part of me felt justified in holding on to the anger but I knew from what my mom had taught me that this would hinder my walk with God and be detrimental to my well being. My mom was always committed to keeping her heart full of unconditional love and forgiveness.
One night I finally prayed deeply and sincerely asking God to help me to let go of the pain and anger I was harboring. Shortly after, I noticed that when I thought of her there was miraculously a feeling of peace and love that filled my soul. One morning I called her up and with a sincere heart told her I loved her. As a child growing up I always admired her. Through prayer those loving childhood feelings returned.
After that breakthrough, I began to take courageous steps in my Ministry which led to a tremendous increase of followers, transformed lives and a strong sense of purpose.
I could have held on to anger and resentment and end up a casualty as so many do. But I will NEVER make that choice and neither will you.
Making the choice to Love instead of to be right gave me back my FAITH and put me in command. It will do the same for you!
